Trying Threes

Oh so very trying!! I don't really remember Joshua being a "terrible two" he was never really that terrible. But he is most certainly a "trying three"
"Can we go home now, go home now, go home now. Are we going home yet. Go home NOW!" is the mantra Joshua repeats endlessly while we are out shopping. It is like a jack-hammer to the brain. Or white noise torture. Basically when this starts i lose all ability to function mentally and can not focus on anything but that endless moan. I can't think to shop so Joshua wins. He even said "I'll just stay in the car" at one shop. When did that become an option for Mr newly turned 3 year old? He needs another 11yrs before I can consider leaving him alone to shop. Hmmm well i did consider it yesterday but seriously it is not worth it. Christmas is meant to be about love and family so I need to take a chill pill and just spend some time with Joshua instead of trying to drag him round to shops. It is not worth the agro (for either of us) I asked Mum to remind me in October next year to sign him in to fulltime daycare for the pre-christmas rush. LOL. As if i would - I would miss the little monkey!
